The most extraordinary parts of life are often mistaken as ordinary. Sometimes the simple act of looking through a camera lens allows us to block out the noise and recognize the marvelous around us. SnapShop exists to help others gain the tools they need to be able to capture the beauty of their days through photography. SnapShop is about the dance that happens when we recognize the magnificent surrounding us and are able to communicate what we see through photography.

SnapShop is a subscription-based photography site with two anchor courses – SnapShop: DSLR & SnapShop:Phone. Additional lessons and interviews are added monthly by founding photographer Ashley Ann Campbell and contributing photographers. With busy schedules in mind, SnapShop is designed for students to go at their own pace and fit into their schedule without time constraints.

Whether you recently purchased your very first DSLR and aren’t even sure how to turn it on or if you have a little bit of a grasp on terms like aperture and shutter speed – SnapShop courses and lessons will help propel you forward on your photography journey.

SnapShop is for the person looking to capture the beauty of their days through photography. It is also for the aspiring photographer hoping to hone skills without the constraints of sticking to class times.

Ashley Ann ~ founding photographer

With a desire to help other moms gain the tools they need to not only understand their camera, but to be able to capture the beauty of their days, I stepped back from working with clients and began SnapShop workshops in 2008.

Most days you can find me capturing the stories of my days and blogging on a couple acres in Oklahoma with my husband, 5 kids, cat, dog and a flock of chickens. I believe our world becomes both bigger and smaller with each adventure outside our home, so I take advantage of any opportunity to go exploring with my crew.

Creativity and adventure, whether with my camera, my hiking boots, my glue gun or my kids (or all of those combined) is essential to who I am. You can get a good picture of me on my blog Under the Sycamore

SnapShop content is also comprised of lessons taught be contributing photographers. I'm grateful to have a talented team teaching in their areas of expertise.
