Part 6 of my Motherhood Session<\/a> with Jessie<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

And the baby of the family…I’m the only one she will let call her baby…as long as I say, “My<\/em> baby.” She laughs and reminds me she is not a baby, but if it makes me happy she’ll go along with it.<\/p>\n

Reading and legos are her two favorite activities. Like her eldest brother, she was an early reader. At first I thought she was just memorizing things, but then I realized, “Nope, she’s reading<\/em>.” She also loves to spell…everything…even for older siblings who don’t appreciate getting help from her!<\/p>\n

Sweet, spicy, small and oh so mighty….<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>\"\"On more than one occasion I have noticed others gazing at us intently. On one such day not that long ago, the woman continually glancing over at us mentioned it was fascinating to her to watch us interact. She said it was obvious we were mother and daughter and yet also obvious she was not created in my womb. Her words were gentle, kind, and I received them as such – a woman caught off guard by the beauty and very natural bond that began in an unnatural way.<\/p>\n

She’s mine and I am her’s.\u00a0My baby girl.<\/p>\n
