\"\"Looking back the years are far fuzzier than I desire. I wish I remembered every little detail, but they are more like the photo above – a general idea, but fuzzy.<\/p>\n

I take a lot of mental snapshots during the day. Those moments I know in my heart I won’t remember in 10 years, but I want to soak it up – a mental ‘click’.<\/p>\n

When I think about the last 13 years, I know there were millions of ‘clicks’ – millions of moments that at the time I truly knew just how wonderful, hard, happy, heartbreaking they were, but I also knew I’d probably forget them with the passing of time. I may not be able to recall details, but I remember a general fuzziness of wonderful, despite even the dark moments – I remember light.<\/p>\n

My friend Jessie<\/a> came over to do a “Motherhood Session”. As much as I was tempted to put us all in cute clothes and give the walls a fresh coat of paint – we kept it us. I wore the same shirt and jeans I wear about 3 times a week. The kids picked out their own clothes.<\/p>\n

Jessie captured us doing our normal homeschool stuff.<\/p>\n

She captured the things I make mental ‘clicks’ of…<\/p>\n

She captured our simple, mundane, everyday extraordinary…<\/p>\n

I’m going to post those too – because they make me smile HUGE and I want them recorded here. Every now and then on a Friday night I turn on Netflix and scroll through old posts. These will definitely be pictures I will want to happen upon one Friday night!<\/p>\n

Getting in front of a camera is not on the top of my list of things I enjoy doing. I usually get awkward and smile like Chandler<\/a>. These pictures – not posed, us doing our normal – are a incredible treasure to me…and Chandler didn’t show up!<\/p>\n
