I so missed my cleft baby’s smile.
    I totally get it.
But his life is so much better this way. What I accepted, versus the world, were two different things. Not to mention speech, ear problems, etc.

  • Marlene - Dear Ashley ann,

I having been reading your blog now for about three months. I cannot remember how I got there but I am so very glad I did. I have just spent 3 hours reading and crying. Oh my I am soo very happy for you and I am scared for little one to. I will be praying for you and your family and especially for little one.

I live in St. Leon, Manitoba, Canada. I am 64 years old and very
happily married now. I too adopted a baby so know from where you come on so many levels. My daughter was not chinese. She was native. Enough said right now.

Just know I will be praying very hard.

    Love always

  • Jessica - I just found your site today… I know, I’m a bit behind the times. It’s lovely! I’m so glad you warned readers to grab a box of kleenex before jumping into the adoption story. My little boy (19 months) is napping and I have been sucked in by your words, your story and your love for your beautiful children. So so perfect.

  • marlene - Hi there,

Have been reading your blog/post now since your first posting about the baby. Am so excited for you. What you and your husband have done is miraculous. Only with HIS help have things been well and happy. What a blessed way to show HIS as well as reaping the benefits of HIS blessing to your family.

    Love Always
