I’m trying to find the words to truly express my gratitude to all of you that donated towards the incubator project. Thank you to all of you that shared about it on facebook, twitter, blogs, instagram, etc.! I am so humbled and grateful for your kindness. The incubator was funded and there was an abundance left!! I don’t know the exact amount or the details of what else will be funded, but as soon as I do I’ll share it with you. As I read your comments and emails, I wept. So many of you have knelt beside your own children as they fought inside an incubator. So many of you have adopted or were adopted and gave out of personal experience. Thank you. Thank you for sharing your stories with me.
I am still working on sending out all the pdf emails. It takes a little bit of time, but I promise to have them all sent within the next few days.
I wanted to share with you a little bit about those that helped me with the project.

I’ve followed Julie’s blog for several years now and finally got to meet her in person at Meg’s first Craft Weekend. Julie has such a giving heart and I have been so inspired by her. Her blog is refreshing, real, and encouraging.
Here are some fun links of Julie’s….
- The story behind her “Your Love is a Song” print – my heart skipped a beat when she sent her print my way
- All of Julie’s Insta-Friday posts – she takes some incredible photos on Instagram
- In a Van Down By the River – her family photos by DrewB
Everything Megan touches comes out beautiful. Her blog is uplifting and I leave feeling encouraged to tackle whatever my day holds. The little details in her home and in her photos show her deep love for her family. She is someone I wish I could sit down with on a porch swing with a cup of coffee and just chat all afternoon.
Here are some fun links of Megan’s…
- Ponder the Path free printable – paint by number printable, yes please
- Her home tour – follow the link to the full tour

I met Heather first through comments she left here on my blog. Her blog has exploded since then and I am so grateful for her friendship. She has a heart for others and is always encouraging women in all she does. She is kind, thoughtful and so creative.

Sarah Jane of Sarah Jane Studios
I’ve been a fan of Sarah Jane’s work for quite some time. Her illustrations are whimsical and endearing. She often combines a delicate illustration with a touching sentiment. Her blog and work are refreshing. I am so honored she partnered with me on the Incubator Project.
Here are some fun links of Sarah’s…
- Sarah’s website – full of illustrations, fabric, books, keepsakes
- Paper doll printable and download – so cute for the spring
- Children At Play fabric line – there is a flickr group too of creations from this adorable fabric
Well, Lesley is my sister…but that does not mean she had to help me 🙂 In fact, the week I began thinking through this idea was the week she was due to have a baby. Though her mind was on her soon to arrive baby, she created two lovely posters for me. She has been so supportive and encouraging to Chris and I as we endure this wait and all that surrounds it. I can’t wait for her to meet her niece!
Here are some fun links of Lesley’s…
- Her recipe page – she is a foodie…a true talent in the kitchen
- Her etsy shop – cute, colorful graphic prints

I am just beginning to learn about all the Love Without Boundaries does in China. I’ve come into contact with so many that have either worked alongside LWB or their children have benefited from LWB. I, personally, am grateful for the work they have done at my daughter’s orphanage. There might be other non-profits that have done work at my daughter’s orphanage, but I have yet to come across any. So, I am indebted to them.
Here are some fun links for Love Without Boundaries…
- Child Sponsorship Programs – you can sponsor a child for foster care, surgery, nutrition, etc.
- Facebook Page – right now they are in China on a cleft repair trip, you can follow updates on their facebook page
- LWB Blog – updates and current news
- Support their Healing Homes – this are homes that provide care for those with serious medical needs
So, again “thank you” to all those that helped. I apologize I don’t have all the exact details yet. Hopefully tomorrow I will hear back and will get to share the outcome. For those that would still like to donate to LWB and/or are hoping for a print, I will continue to email those for the rest of this week. Thank you,

Valerie - Thought you would appreciate hearing that your incubator project inspired me. In honor of my sons homecoming day celebration (we adopted him from Bulgaria, in 2003) this year, I am in the works for setting up a fundraiser through an organization that works with orphanages in Bulgaria. So thanks for the inspiration!
amber - I was never able to get on my computer yesterday (oh busy days…) & totally missed out on the funding of the incubator. I have wanted to adopt from China since I was in middle school. The picture of those babies…it fuels that fire. As we’re anticipating the birth of our 3rd child, I am so blessed to hear from you about your daughter. As I wait to meet my son or daughter, I’m so excited waiting with you to meet yours. I can’t wait to donate to such a wonderful place. Thank you, for making this happen, so we can all feel like we’re making a difference in a grander plan. Praying for your sweet Song!!
