There were lots of emails and comments asking for information on some of the stuff I used on the bed…so here you go:
The quilt was made by my Aunt Sandy using Amy Butler’s Midwest Modern fabric and pattern
All of the lanterns are from the Martha Stewart line at Walmart:
The Polka Dot garland was also from WalMart, but I can’t find it online.
To attach it to the ceiling I made a rectangle frame from dowel rods. I then tied each lantern to the dowel using fishing line. Finally I found 2 ceiling studs, drilled holes into the beams, attached 2 eye hooks and tied the frame to the eye hooks using twine.

Caitlyn - I am in LOVE with your tissue pom cluster in your baby’s nursery! Since you’ve posted the links for the chinese lanterns, those products are no longer available, at least not online, so I wondered if you remembered what sizes you bought of the lanterns? I hope you don’t mind me copying you! You have such incredible taste!
Liz - I love this bed and I want to try making one for my kids playroom…what did you do for the mattress?
Thanks so much!
Liz
